2017 Orlando Veterans Day Parade and Veterans Salute at The Ace Cafe - Steel Soldiers and MVPA

Our MVPA Club members and The Steel Soldiers together attended the 18th Annual Orlando Veterans Day Parade. Over 300 organizations participated making it one of the largest events in Orlando. More than 40,000 people lined the streets of downtown Orlando along the 3 mile long route. Our group was a HUGE hit receiving applause, thumbs up, salutes and enthusiastic cheering as we drove thru the historic streets of The City Beautiful. After the parade we were invited to display our vehicles at the World Famous Ace Cafe for the remainder of the day. Thousands of patrons came to see and talk about our vehicles. Film star Rob Riggle, a veteran himself, opened the event with his well-known humor and the crowd was entertained with live music and the best food in Orlando. If you have never been to the Ace Cafe you should go to their website and look at their food menu and the other vehicle events they have every day of the week.

Here are some photos and a video clip from the live TV broadcast of the Parade. Make plans to join us this year.
